With it's inception in 2008, the ANZ Championship is approaching it's fifth season to start in 2012.
Running from March to July each year, the league showcases the very best talent from within Australia and New Zealand as well as attracting international stars from overseas.
Last season (2011) the Queensland Firebirds broke all records to become the only team to be unbeaten throughout the season, and went on to win the grand finale taking down the Northern Mystics by 57 goals to 44 thus never having lost a single game all season. Click here for the match report.
